How much does home physiotherapy cost and what does the price depend on?

Home physiotherapy from the “W zdrowym ciele” clinic costs approx. approx. 200 PLN for travel of up to 5 km from Rydułtowy, and above 5 km PLN 2 is added for each kilometre. We travel up to 15 km, so the surcharge is at most about PLN 20. The exact price is agreed when booking, based on the fastest route at the time of the visit. Payment by cash, bank transfer or BLIK.

How much does a home visit from the “W zdrowym ciele” clinic cost?

The basic price of a home visit is approx. approx. 200 PLN and includes travel of up to 5 km from the clinic in Rydułtowy. This is the price of a single visit by a physiotherapist to the patient’s home, not of a package. For comparison, a consultation at the clinic costs 180 PLN. The clinic sees private patients only, without a contract with the NFZ.

During the visit the physiotherapist assesses the patient’s condition, leads exercises, walking or transfer practice, and shows carers how to help day to day.. You will find the prices of all services in the clinic’s price list. Prices valid from 08.2026.

How to calculate the travel surcharge?

We charge the surcharge only for kilometres above 5 km: subtract 5 km from the distance and multiply the result by PLN 2. At 8 km the surcharge is about PLN 6, at 10 km about PLN 10, and at the maximum of 15 km about PLN 20. The distance is measured from the clinic in Rydułtowy, along the fastest route by car.

What does the final price of the visit depend on?

The final price depends above all on the distance measured along the fastest route at the time of the visit, not in a straight line. The same address may work out slightly differently in the morning and in the afternoon, when traffic jams or roadworks change the route. That is why a surcharge you calculate yourself may differ by a few zloty from the amount given when booking.

We always give the exact price when arranging the visit, before the physiotherapist arrives, so there are no surprises on the day. When booking, have the full address ready, and if the place is hard to find, describe how to get there.

Where do we travel to for home physiotherapy?

We provide home physiotherapy up to 15 km from Rydułtowy: in Rydułtowy, Rybnik, Wodzisław Śląski and towns and villages of Rybnik and Wodzisław counties within this radius, e.g. Radlin, Pszów or Gaszowice. We do not currently travel to Racibórz and Racibórz County – we welcome patients from this area to the clinic in Rydułtowy.

How can you pay for a home visit?

You can pay for a home visit by cash, bank transfer or BLIK. The clinic has no contract with the NFZ, so the cost is covered by the patient or their family, and no referral is needed for the visit. It is worth stating the payment method when booking, especially if the visit is paid for by a relative who will not be at the patient’s home.

When does a home visit make sense, and when is the clinic better?

A home visit costs more than a visit to the clinic, but it can be the most sensible choice when the patient does not leave home, has had a stroke or a hospital stay, or when getting them to the clinic would need the help of several people. If the patient can get there on their own or with relatives, the clinic gives access to the full range of equipment, and the building has a lift and a large car park.
