We visit patients in Wodzisław Śląski and in the towns and villages of Wodzisław County from the “W zdrowym ciele” clinic in Rydułtowy. Home physiotherapy is for people who find it hard to leave the house: after a stroke, after hospital, after a fracture or surgery, or with neurological conditions. Visits are private (not covered by NFZ, the Polish public health fund) and no referral is needed. We give an approximate price, depending on the distance, when you book.

- Approx. PLN 200 within 5 km of Rydułtowy, then + PLN 2/km. We confirm the exact price when booking, based on the fastest route at the time of the visit.
- Reception: Mon–Fri 7:00–20:00; online via Booksy at any time (visits at the clinic).
What does the first home visit look like?
The physiotherapist starts by talking to the patient and their carer and reviewing the hospital discharge summary and the doctor’s recommendations. She assesses how the patient sits down, gets up, walks and manages thresholds, and then sets goals, e.g. walking to the bathroom independently. At the very first visit she shows the first exercises and how family members can help safely day to day.
We plan further visits according to the patient’s condition and the doctor’s recommendations. Once the patient is able to travel, therapy can be moved to the clinic — at ul. Strzelców Bytomskich 11 in Rydułtowy there is a lift and a large car park.
What problems do we most often visit for?
- rehabilitation after a stroke at home,
- weakness in older people after a hospital stay,
- recovery after a hip or knee replacement and after fractures,
- Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions.
Details of what we offer and how to prepare can be found on the home physiotherapy page.
Frequently asked questions
Does the physiotherapist bring equipment?
. Most exercises are done with what you have at home: a chair, a bed, a handrail. If assistive equipment would help, e.g. a walking frame, we will advise you which one to choose and where to rent or buy it.
Can I book a visit for a family member?
Yes, it is most often the patient’s family who call. Give the address, a short description of the patient’s health and the medication they take. It is good for a carer to be present at the first visit — the physiotherapist will show how to help safely with getting up, transferring and walking.
